where it began

what started as a crazy leap into the unknown back in february 2024 has become something i never expected. i had no idea how i was going to make it work, but somehow…

i did.

what i thought was just a side project quickly grew into a real business that continues to expand every single day. but before i skip ahead… i’m going to bring you back to the beginning.

floofy socials technically launched in october of 2023, back when i still worked a full time corporate job. driven by a nudge from friends. i made the instagram. picked a name.

fun fact: for 3 days we were actually called “fluffy socials” lol.

i took every client. every job. any video. to build my experience (& wow did i learn a lot of lessons along the way)

and until early 2025 it stayed that way.

what i learned?

working 12 hours days is unrealistic and unhealthy for literally anyone. that it’s ok to say no to a project, if it doesn’t align. and most importantly to start knowing when to let the right things go from my business!

but my biggest lesson… was understanding that starting messy, saying yes to everything and everyone, and working 80 hour weeks was the thing that drove me to where i am now.

    this is very subjective, depending on what you need. mostly it’s visual indentity, content formats, planning, expanding out your ideas and working out the bigger picture for your socials.
