my name is mia. born in england, but instantly shipped to ireland and spent most of my life in galway (for those who are curious about my accent)
i’ve worked many careers. a barista for a short time, makeup artistry for yeeears, recruitment (eeeek) and now building a video editing agency.
for my entire life i DREAMED of being creative in some capacity, and i honestly never knew HOW i would get there. soon i found that video creation was MY THANG, and went all in. over time i figured out that there is thousands of you in the world who also want to learn the exact same.. and eventually figured out that i was pretty good at teaching the skill.
what do i do outside of work?
slow sofa days. business, paranormal and silly podcasts. showjumping horses. walking my dogs (roo + albus). thrift shopping. daily cafe crawling for a flat white. reading 1-2 books on average per month. easily overwhelmed and anxious. an introvert that thought she was always an extrovert. fascinated by the ocean (sharks), aliens, dinosaurs and memes.
why did i create ‘create’ lol?
because this was something i needed. truthtfully. and if i had it, i would have figured my shit out a lot quicker. my ultimate goal since launching floofy socials, has been to help AS MANY HUMANS AS POSSIBLE actually achieve their goals of creating content that makes them proud, and actually get them results too. and as much as i love 1:1 work, i realised it was impossible for me to give you all 100% of my work, energy, dedication.. through back to back daily calls.
and after test running ‘confidently create’ for two rounds.. i took a step back, because i knew something in the curriculum was missing.
in this space of pause and reflection, ‘create’ was born (lol dramatic but hey). i wanted to create the ultimate hub for learning, being and doing, and i’ve finally done it. now i just can’t wait to share it with you x
